Black Impala is a variation/mutation in colour from Common Impala. Trophy hunting for the Black Impala is for the hunter who wants a unique and rare trophy. Impala meat is known to be one of the tastiest in Africa and is often used for bait for Leopard, and is excellent grilled food for hunters in camp.
The Impala lives in herds and prefer habitats such as open savannah areas and dense shrubbery. Impalas live both of leaves and grasses, which makes it very adaptable. Impalas are very dependent on water, and drink several times a day, and will therefore most often be found near water.
